| Another day and another sealed track. I was happy with End of Time and even though he has lightened up he has a lovely big stride and is on target to make his race debut next Thursday at Wyong. Neil commented that Maybe I had definitely benefited from the Tempest Morn Jenny Craig diet and is starting to feel like a horse again. She came in carrying so much condition and Steve could only get the girth to the third whole on both sides. I honestly thought she was in foal. Tinjirarni worked gloriously for Scott whilst Once Were Wild was great for Ranjeet who also partnered Leap, who he felt was much stronger this time in. I was particularly pleased with the Star Thoroughbreds Katsura; she can be a bit of a monkey wanting to go too hard but she was in her element on a quite morning. Al Mahunad glided around over 1400m and will be seen next Saturday at Kembla Grange in the maiden 1200m. Refuse Me and Beleconi were a great pair. Jersey City and Tindal both rather robust horses were extremely well-matched. I was delighted with the improvement from the big Redoute's Choice colt Bassoon whose nickname used to be Bafoon. I'm sure he got wind of it and changed his tune. Wearing blinkers and with one trial under his belt he was more tractable finding the line strongly with Sarah Can Fly. The punters pal Brightexptectations, I'm over the moon with the way he's retuned to the yard. This long loose colt really enjoyed his training session. Ganda and Cricketer matched strides. The penny has dropped since Ganda trialled and had the blinkers added. Al Aseel and Gunbarrel were a gorgeous pair for Ben and Steve. Royal Battalion, Nash gave him top marks of the morning. Squamose his partner is also a lovely horse and they made a terrific pair. The superbly bred Port Augusta was very sharp when working with Belgrando. I could not be more pleased with Crystal Empire who was perfectly matched with Texan. See that's my most important job making sure I pair equal talented pairs together. If they get beat in their gallops I need to swap them around with another horse around the same mark. Jumpouts are going great almost 25 horses went in lots of 3-4-5 this morning and all were ridden by Blake, Ben, Mark, Steve, Ranjeet and Craig. All jumped on terms except for one or two; some faster than the other but everything went along smoothly and in a relaxed fashion. I met with the David Jones team today headed by Damien Eales and Antonia and Julia from Map and Page to discuss the upcoming Pink Stiletto day which is photographed on the latest Racing NSW calendar. The day should be a hoot with lots of fun and games for all who attend.
